Amano shrimp (*Caridina multidentata*) grow larger than cherry shrimp and spend the day picking film algae off plants and hardscape. They need a mature tank, hiding spots, and a tight lid. They do not complete their life cycle in freshwater, so you will not get a colony from one batch. Keep with peaceful community fish that will not hunt shrimp. Skip copper treatments.
